First picture is my favorite. The light bursting through the branches at the top is God having a peek. I'm sure you knew that.

picture? And from/to where? Do we know? Is s/he a random moment? (Yes, these are the kinds of questions that go through my mind).
The tree with the enormous chunk gone from it, still upright and rooted, looming over that tiny person near its base ... what a metaphor!
